PRESS: International flights from Russia’s Zhukovsky seen in Mar

MOSCOW, Dec 23 (PRIME) -- International flights from the Moscow Region-based Zhukovsky airport to Europe and Asia will be launched sometime in March–May 2017, Izvestia newspaper reported Friday citing Yevgeny Solodilin, deputy CEO of Ramport Aero holding, which develops the airport.

First flights will be made to Tel Aviv, Istanbul and Antalya.

“We will fly not only to CIS countries, but to Europe and Asia. In January–February, we will gather all information and enter a more serious level in March. We will gradually add destinations – Baku, Tel Aviv, and Istanbul. Flights to Antalya I think will start in April–May,” Solodilin said.

Zhukovsky is a new airport located about 23 kilometers from Moscow.
